HOW A VEHICLE SUBSCRIPTION WORKS

• A simple process – Make a booking with our team over the phone, collect your vehicle from select Avis locations, and drive away with your vehicle.
• No long-term commitments – After our minimum 60 days there are no lock-in contracts. Plus, you won’t be charged any early termination fees after this (in line with termination notice periods thereafter).
• All running costs covered – Your rates include all the costs for maintenance, scheduled servicing and replacement tyres. 
• 24/7 Mechanical Breakdown Assistance – Drive with the confidence that you have support in the event of a mechanical issue. 

WHAT ARE THE ADDED BENEFITS?

• Vehicle swap option – Swap your vehicle up to 2 times in 11 months at specified intervals (subject to fleet build and availability). If you need to change, simply contact the rental location that you hired from.
• Wide range of vehicles – choose from our wide range of vehicles. Vehicles may vary by location.
• Discounted rates – Avis Flex Commercial is cheaper than our standard rental rates – you are rewarded as a long-term customer.
• Practical inclusions - To make this a practical option, we know that there are some sensible extras you will need. We give you free Additional Drivers and you are entitled to straps and blankets (subject to availability). 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS TO NOTE:

• The minimum rental age for Avis Flex Commercial is 25 years old
• Minimum rental duration is 60 days. After 60 days, there are no cancellation fees for early returns. 
• For returns prior to 60 days, you will be charged the rate that was applicable for the vehicle for the rental period
• Payments must be a credit card and in the name of the hirer
• Card transaction fees will apply upon pick up of the vehicle
• Payment is taken upfront at the start of each month, in addition to a pre-authorisation hold equal to the value of the rental each month.
• Tyre replacement is subject to fair wear and tear
• There are unlimited kilometres on vehicle groups C, D, H, L and Z. You will be charged per kilometre for other vehicle groups in line with the following: Groups E, G, V charged at $0.32 per km; Groups A, F, P, S charged at $0.53 per km; and Groups K, W, X charged at $0.66 per km
• Available at Avis New Zealand corporate locations only. Excluded locations include: Taupo Airport, Taupo Downtown, Gisborne Airport, New Plymouth Downtown, New Plymouth Airport, Timaru Airport and Timaru Downtown
• Subject to the terms and conditions of the Avis Rental Agreement at the time of rental.
